Arm for a Barrier Gate - in reference to Barrier Gate ; synonymous with gate boom; the metal, PVC, or wood horizontal bar that blocks the road. The boom or arm are typically 8' to 12' long but longer arms are available. Longer arms may require supports and heavy duty motors, etc.
