Fee computers calculate the parking fee a parker has accumulated by means of a ticket that was dispensed at the entrance by a ticket dispenser. The ticket can have data encoded onto a bar code or magnetic stripe and/or printed on the ticket. The fee computer can either ask the parking attendant to enter date/time information or simply swipe the card to calculate the amount due. Fee computers can also control the exit barrier gate, display fees to a fee display, connect to an online back office system to name a few.
