This Motorized Traffic Controller is designed to provide Protection against unauthorized traffic moving through a protected area. Motor vehicles moving in either direction across the row of steel spikes are disabled by the destruction of their tires. All pneumatic tires are immediately disabled as they cross the GO-339 Motorized Traffic Controller.
The Motorized Traffic Controller operates in approximately 2.0 seconds and can also be used to admit authorized traffic. It can be operated in an unattended mode or it can be remote controlled from a guard post or station by a radio carried transmitter.
Generally, the Motorized Traffic Controller is used in locations such as high value storage warehouses, auto rental facilities, public parking lots, and private gated communities. The GO-339 installations can be used in many situations where unauthorized traffic solutions are needed.
The GO-339 can be used with existing or new parking gates. The standard switch logic built into each machine permits easy interface with existing systems or as the primary device controlling auxiliary devices, lights, etc.

Ramset Control Board Introduction:
Ramset's Control Board works with Sliding, Swinging, and Overhead vehicular gate operators. It is controlled by a programmable microprocessor that reads and precisely executes all functions of the Control Board. The Control Board is powered by a separate mounted 24 VAC transformer. This allows no necessary board modifications between 110 VAC and 220 VAC single-phase applications. Some of the functions of the Control Board are: 0-60 seconds automatic close timer, self-adjusting E.R.D with low and high settings, constant warning, pre-warning, secure close, one pass, open & close delay, plug-in loop detectors and RS485 three wire master/slave connection.

Installation
The GO-339 should be mounted on a level concrete foundation or concrete pad surface and secured by means of foundation bolts or fasteners (check your local code requirements for length and type of fasteners). The motor control cabinet, tunnel and ramps are pre-drilled with 3/4" holes for this type of mounting.
Motor box and modules must be completely aligned in a straight line and leveled; suggested method would be using a chalk line to position your layout prior to installing motor box and modules. If modules in motor box are not mounted in a straight line and leveled this could cause your unit to malfunction and could void your warranty.
Actual Installation will begin after location of motorized unit location is established. First start with your tunnel module #1 fasten it to the concrete with 2 recommended fasteners one is each opposite corner, proceed with module #2 by removing the top plate that is installed up side down, showing the primer side up, slide #2 module in position in to the key way shaft then tighten as necessary with the 3/32 Allen wrench provided, remember always keep your modules between your chalk line marks which were established prior to installation. Proceed with the same steps until you reach your last module then install your end caps as needed. Once all modules are in place reinstall your top plates with the red finish face up and tighten your 3/8-16 bolts until the lock washers are completely flattened.
Motor box placement will be installed last using your motor placement template that is provided. When using your motor placement template push the formed end of your template against the first tunnel module, align the 22" side with the 22" side of the module, then mark and pre-drill a 3/16" pilot hole in your concrete then step drill to your needed hole diameter. Place motor in location then loop chain around sprocket making sure the white indicator line is facing up on booth tunnel module and motor box. When the indicator line is facing up your spikes should be in the down position. Once chain is attached and aligned, bolt down the motor box as specified. Your motorized unit should be ready for wire hook up as needed.
Drainage
Since the unit is surface mounted it is the responsibility of the installer to assess the conditions prior to installation for any possible flood conditions. If there is any sign of excessive water this could cause the unit to malfunction.
Maintenance
Motorized unit should be put on your maintenance schedule for periodic cleaning of debris from bearing area in three foot sections also making sure there are no obstructions in the spike / shaft area. Motor box should be maintained according to manufacture instruction that is provided with your RAMSET 100 UL Unit. The amount of maintenance could vary depending upon conditions of the unit's location.
Emergency Procedures
In case of any type of emergency and the tooth shaft module needs to be lowered without the use of power, prior to removing the motor enclosure make sure the power leading to the motor is switched off completely. Then remove motor enclosure, remove chain link and chain, and then manually lower tooth modules. When reattaching drive chain refer back to the installation instructions.
