Description:
The MEC-85N-C900 is a oline magnetic stripe exit station (also known as a ticket injester or ticket verifier) that will injest a encoded magnetic stripe ticket issued from the MEC-75N-C900 Ticket Dispenser, determine if payment has been made, and open the barrier gate operator if a valid ticket is determined. After a valid ticket is read it is stored in a ticket bin. If the ticket is invalid, the ticket is returned to the parker with an explanation of the error on the exit station's 4 line by 20 character display. The exit station can be used in both single lane and multiple lane parking configurations. The MEC85 is used in unmanned exit lanes. By using a parking validator, programmable free parking can be given to parkers. In a typical application, a vehicle loop at the ticket verifier location will activate the ticket exit station. If a parker inserts a ticket into the exit station, the ticket verifier will also activate.
The MEC exit verifier is constructed from 14 gauge galvanized, phosphate treated sheet metal with a stainless steel base. The housing is powder coated in a RAL 2000 white color to ensure corrosion protection from harsh environmental conditions. Other custom RAL colors are available for an additional cost. The housing also incorporates a maintenance front door and removable top hood for easy access to all components of the exit station.
The MEC85 provides transaction and unit status to the WinMac Online Fee Computer or central facility computer via a online connection.

In addition to the MEC-80N-C100 ticket exit station, a barrier gate operator, ticket dispenser, and fee computer is required to create a revenue system.
